Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers

Southern Classic Chicken is looking for strong, hands-on leaders to join our team.  This is more than an opportunity to manage a shift. It’s a chance to develop people, create memorable guest experiences, and support a culture grounded in our mission: To Bring You Back.

Available Positions

Shift Leader - Estimated pay range: $16 - $18 per hour, based on experience

Shift Leaders set the pace during every shift. You’ll coach team members, maintain high standards, solve problems, and help create an environment where employees and guests feel welcomed and valued.

Assistant Manager - Estimated pay range: $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience

Assistant Managers help lead the entire restaurant operation. You’ll support hiring and training, develop future leaders, manage shifts, protect food and service standards, and partner with the General Manager to achieve business goals.

  • Manage labor, cash-handling, inventory, and shift execution as appropriate to the position

  • Restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer-service leadership experience

Previous restaurant management experience is preferred for Assistant Manager candidates. High-potential candidates with strong leadership experience in another fast-paced industry are also encouraged to apply.
